Should the Republic of Gjorka be dissolved, and have the Federation of Gjorka take it's place under the constitution drafted by the Constitutional Convention?
The 1991 Gjorkan Constitution referendum took place on February 23, 2016 in Gjorka over whether the new constitution proposed by the Constitutional Convention should be implemented. The Convention had been organized by the National Assembly over calls to reform the country in the wake of the corrupt presidency of Rick Milhous. The Conventional determined the best course of action was to draft a new constitution for Gjorka and dissolve the Republic of Gjorka in favor a new Federation of Gjorka. Following their final draft finished in January of 1991, the National Assembly decided to hold a referendum on whether the drafted constitution should be implemented. The new constitution was approved by 70% of voters and had 75% turnout meeting the 60% approval requirement and 50%
turnout requirement set by the National Assembly. On May 7th, 1991 the Federation of Gjorka was declared.
