The 1835 Gjorkan general election was an election held in Gjorka on August 27, 1835 to determine control over the Congress of Gjorka. It was the first time a pro-commoner party secured a plurality in the Congress of Gjorka, and subsequently led to the collapse of the multi-party system. The pro-commoner parties merged into the Gjorkan Party, and the pro-merchant parties merged into the National Party, and the Society Party.
