The Federalist Party was established out of the political party shakeup of 2076. The Traditionalists, Libertists and Worker's Solidarity Party realigned and reorganized to form the New Freedom Party and the Collective Progressive Party. The United Nationalist Party remained entact. The Federalist Party was formed as a small-government, economically liberal party who's main focus was on strengthening the powers of State Ministers as executives of their states, and delegating power to the states as opposed to the federal government.
